Food distribution programs sponsored by LCS provide meals and produce for over 65,000 in New Castle County

LIFE Food Pantries

Lutherans in Food Emergencies provides three stationary food pantries throughout Wilmington. Clients are provided with three day's worth of emergency food provisions.  This service requires a referral from a social-service agency or a participating church. The pantries are located at:

Hope Lutheran Church
  9 am - noon, Monday-Friday

St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church
  9 am - noon, Monday-Friday

Zion Lutheran Church
   9:30 am - 11:30 am, Tuesday,
        Wednesday, Thursday

 

2006 LIFE Mobile Food Pantries

Preregister at the site.

Shiloh Baptist Church
  2 pm, 2nd Thursday of the month

Hope Lutheran Church
  3 pm, 3rd Thursday of the month


2006 Produce Distribution

Fruits, vegetables, and other perishables are distributed to all who show up. No preregistration or referral required.

St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church
   Wednesday, 11:30 am.

St. Philip’s Lutheran Church
   10 am, 1st and 3rd Mondays

Grocery Clubs

Qualified families receive supplemental groceries once a month. Membership is limited. Call 654-8886, or info@lcsde.org for more information.
