Housing Stability

HOSS provides referrals to services to help with things like financial education, legal aid, food assistance, and other things that might stabilize your housing situation. It is important to stress that HOSS is not a financial assistance program. There is no money involved. Instead, this program is designed to have you work alongside a case manager. You are required to set goals and develop a plan with us to achieve them. We’ll be there with you to check on progress, and to help support you!

We have a limited amount of funds available from time to time for rental assistance, utility payments, and security deposits. Funds are on a first-come first-served basis, and applicants must meet eligibility guidelines and provide all required documentation.

If you are interested in committing to work with a case manager through the HOSS program or to register your interest in receiving emergency financial assistance, please fill out our Assistance Application. We look forward to working with you.

We want the process to go smoothly! Our goal is to respond to all inquiries within 2 business days.

After we receive your intake form, we will promptly:

• Review your application

• If needed, contact you via Phone or Email with any questions

• Let you know whether we can assist you or not

• If LCS can provide assistance, discuss next steps depending on the service(s) you requested

• Allow us to serve you better by submitting our Assistance Application rather than calling or emailing our office.

• Please try to respond promptly when an LCS staff member reaches out to you or requests required documentation so we can resolve your situation efficiently

• Our goal is to resolve every application as quickly as possible. Please do not submit multiple applications, as this might delay assistance
