Every year, over 300 people volunteer to help LCS provide services to Delaware residents in need. Their volunteer services include distributing food bags and boxes, assisting with produce distribution, stocking food pantry shelves, doing office work, maintaining statistics, and participating in fund raising activities.
Churches, individuals and foundations also support LCS services with financial donations and grants.
The assistance of all these supporters allows LCS to provide services to over 68,000 each year, with a minimal staff.
